Über den Autor und weitere Mitwirkende

Norbert Elgert wurde im Januar 1957 in Gelsenkirchen geboren. In 159 Profispielen, davon 83 für Schalke 04, erzielte der Stürmer 37 Tore. Seit 1996 ist Elgert Nachwuchstrainer in der Knappenschmiede der Königsblauen. Er brachte mittlerweile mehr als 80 Bundesliga-Profis heraus. Selbst Bayern Münchens Vorstands-Boss Karl-Heinz Rummenigge sagt anerkennend: »Sie haben eine gute Jugendabteilung und mit Norbert Elgert einen hervorragenden Coach, der bekannt ist für seine gute Arbeit. Insgesamt muss man Schalke ein großes Kompliment machen, sie sind ein Vorbild für uns.« Dreimal führte Elgert die U19 der Schalker zur Deutschen A-Jugend-Meisterschaft und zweimal zum DFB-Pokalsieg. Der DFB-Trainer des Jahres 2013 lebt mit seiner Frau in Dorsten. Sie haben eine erwachsene Tochter.

Ich habe das Vergnügen und die Ehre Norbert Elgert kennen zu dürfen. Deshalb darf und kann ich auch von einem tollen Menschen sprechen.Wer ihn nicht persönlich kennt, wird dies aber nach dem lesen des Buches nachvollziehen können.Norbert erzählt in unterhaltsamer Weise und vor allem sehr selbst reflektiert von seinen Erfahrungen als Coach und Mensch.Auch wenn man an Fußball nicht interessiert ist, zeigt seine Erzählung, dass man auch über den Tellerrand schauen muss und kann und vor allem nie aufhören darf zu lernen. Fehler gehören dazu - aus diesen allerdings zu lernen macht es erst möglich erfolgreich zu sein und trotzdem geerdet und bodenständig zu bleiben.Menschlich zu sein und zu bleiben, sich kümmern und das im harten Fußballgeschäft ist eine Kunst. Dies kann man nicht einfach lernen. Dazu lernen , JA, jederzeit. Die Bereitschaft und Erkenntnis zu haben dies auch zu tun - das ist die Kunst.Danke Norbert für dieses Buch

Ein tolles Buch von einem der besten Jugendtrainer. Das Buch kann ich nur weiterempfehlen, da ich persönlich für meine Trainertätigkeit einiges mitnehmen werde

Ein überragendes, lehrreiches und empfehlenswertes Buch zum Lesen. Man ist durch die ersten Seiten total begeistert und viele Beispiele und Anekdoten geben mir die Hoffnung und Möglichkeit, im Beruf und als Trainer erfolgreicher zu werden, und zwar in der Ausbildung junger Menschen! Jeder Fussballtrainer sollte dies als Pflichtlektüre sehen.

Ein absolut faszinierendes Buch. Unterhaltsam und sehr aufschlussreich. Habe zwar erst die ersten 50 Seiten gelesen, kann es aber kaum abwarten, weiter zu lesen.

Dieses Buch ist absolut zu empfehlen, nicht nur für Fußball-Aspiranten, sondern auch im Allgemeinen Leben anzuwenden. DANKE, Norbert Elgert, ich warte auf das nächste Buch!!

Interessantes Buch. Selbst für Nicht-Fussball-Interessierte.Klare Sprache und klare Worte. Kann man auch in andere Lebenslagen einsetzen und bringt einen zum nachdenken.

Hoffentlich bleibt Norbert Robert den FC Schalke 04 und dem Fußball noch lange erhalten. Menschen wie er, geben den jungen Talenten auch das nötige neben dem Fußballplatz mit auf den Lebensweg.

Dieses Buch sollte jeder Trainer lesen.Es hilft ungemein. Vielen Dank Norbert für diese Einblicke.Jeder Sportler sollte einmal so einen Trainer treffen.

This is the most helpful book on the the market today for materials and techniques. I consider this my " art bible". I have found this book to be entirely accurate and even though I bought this book about 2 years ago, I read it over and over again. I discover new helpful hints each time. Although this book is simplified and easy to read, there is a great deal of important information that has propelled me into successfully copying the Masters and developing my own style. Thank you Bill Creevy, you have filled in the gaps for me and helped bring me personal success.

I've read a few books on oil painting, and this one is my favorite, hands down. You know that feeling when you're in the art store, selecting supplies and making discoveries, and you look up and realize half the day has gone by? Well, just be sure to set aside some reading time for this when you don't have an urgent project going, because...Although there is at least one other book that calls itself an oil painting encyclopedia (and this one does not), this book has more factual, up-to-date, and helpful information about oil painting tools, supplies, mediums, etc., and how and when to use each of them than any other I've found. Plus the paintings and demonstrations in this book so beautifully illustrate those usages, it was easy for me to see which particular paints and mediums I should try next to complement and grow my own style--and I was deeply inspired to do so. It felt like getting an artist-led tour through the art store, with demos along the way, and pre-printed cliff notes.One word of warning: this book may lead to large purchases of oil paints and mediums! You WILL want to try new things. :DI was sad to come to the end of this book, but I have already found myself going back and referring to sections and passages multiple times, as the information is densely-packed, so there's more you will get out of it after the initial reading, or after your own experiments and efforts. The more you learn and try, the more it will grow with you over time.

Best beginning painting book I've owned, and as a professor and painter I've owned a lot. Covers glazing particularly well, and is suited for students. I will start requiring this to be my classroom text for my painting classes moving forward.

Great resource guide and teaching of techniques. Well written and well represented. A good teacher is a great thing and this book is just that...a good teacher.

Oils are quite different from water media from beginning to end. This reference/technique bookprovides detailed description of each part of the process. For example; oil sticks (not oil pastels)can be combined with oil paint, under painting in acrylic provides a value study to build on, glazingtechniques are clearly described. If you can, just check out the table of contents to see howcomplete a reference this is. I have only two oil reference books; this book and Oil Painting byCharles Sovek. This is all the reference I've needed to begin a serious study of the medium.

I love the materials knowledge & applications that are given at the first half of this reference book. I, however, agree with another customer's assertion that the remaining part of the book was demo related, but I like the list of suppliers near the end towards the index section. I am happy that I now own this book as with my other in-depth reference of artist's materials & supplies information that I wished I had gotten a few years ago.
